- Some broken cream crackers (to be smashed)
- Parsley (as much as you like)
- 500 g minced beef
- 2 tablespoons mustard (the more spicy, the better)
- 1 large egg
- Sliced melting cheese (of your choice)
- Toppings (mustard, mayonaise, pickles, tomato, lettuce… your choice!)
- Smash the crackers until fine and breaking any big bits into a large bowl.
- Chop the parsley (no stalks), add to the bowl with the mustard and the minced beef.
- Add the egg and a good pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Mix everything up well. Divide into 6 balls and flatten them in a roundish shape (2cm).
- Place in the fridge if needed (optional).
- Preheat a large frying pan on a high heat and then turn the heat down to medium.
- Cook the burgers on each side until blackish.
- Add folded slices of cheese (size of the burger) and cover the pan with a lid. Wait until melted.
- Prepare your bread and add the toppings (mustard, mayonaise, pickles, tomato, lettuce… your choice!). Add the burger with the melted cheese and enjoy!
