1 kg – pouvilho (cassava flour)
600 ml – milk
150 ml – sunflower oil
1 tbsp – salt
5-6 eggs
300g cheese
Preparation
1- Sieve cassava flower into a large bowl and mix the salt. Put it aside.
2 – combine the milk and the oil and boil it. Be careful! It will raise. Keep an eye on it.
3 – mix the boiling mix into the cassava flour and mix it with a wooden spoon. Let it cool down. The mixture will look rough.
4 – add 5 eggs and mix everything with your hands. It is sticky! If the dough is too dry, add another egg.
5 – add the cheese and mix until uniform.
6 – leave on the fridge for at least an hour until cold and thigh
(If eating immediately, pre-heat oven 200oC)
7 – make some small balls. Use oil in your hands to make the balls.
8 – put them on a baking tray (with baking sheet) and bake or freeze them.
